The Uganda visa is best acquired at the immigration office at your point of entry upon arrival. However you can also buy your entry permits in advance from any Uganda Embassy or High commission nearest to you.

It is advisable to obtain the visa from a Kenyan Embassy/High Commission abroad prior to departure. Where applicable, visa fees are as follows: – Transit Visa = US$20 per person; Reference Fee: -US$10; Single Entry Visa= US$50 for three months (extendable for a similar period) Multiple Journey Visa= US$100.

We recommend that if possible please try to obtain a visa prior to arrival as rules and regulations for Tanzania have a tendency to change without warning. Information provided by embassies and consulates tends to have a strong focus on you obtaining a visa in your own country at a rate far higher than at the airport/border.
